Kyriaki Divini is an English for Medicine instructor at the University of Crete, School of Medicine. She holds a BA in English and Greek language and literature from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece, and has received training in the teaching of English for medical purposes from the University of Edinburgh. She has over 35 years of experience in teaching courses in medical terminology, medical reading and writing, and patient-physician communication. She has also taught Greek to speakers of other languages. She has published work in international journals and conference proceedings and has served on international ESP/EAP conference organising and program committees. She is a member of the coordinating committee of the University of Crete teaching and learning support office.
