By accessing and/or browsing and/or using and/or placing an order via this website, you accept and verify reading, fully understanding and unconditionally accepting the herein described Terms and Conditions.

These Terms of Use can be reviewed and updated at any time and without prior notice, following a possible change in the Greek and European legal framework, regarding issues governing the use of the internet in general. Please check the terms of use of our website at regular intervals – regarding any changes – as the use of this website constitutes acceptance of the aforementioned terms. The following terms have been formulated taking into account the rapid development of technology (particularly the internet) and the existing legislation governing relevant issues.

• view the books of our publishing company in detail. Moreover, they have the ability to download the contents and an indicative chapter of the book free of charge,
• gather information regarding the contents of the books through a brief description and also learn the book’s features, e.g. dimensions, number of pages etc and
• use our on-line store in order to complete on-line any order they desire, utilizing one of the payment methods provided to them.

OTHER TERMS

Our services are provided free of charge.

The publishing house cannot be held accountable regarding the content of another website that the site may redirect the customer to.

TERMS OF USE OF THE ONLINE STORE

Regarding the purchase of our products via our On-line shop, which also complies with the requirements of the Presidential Decree 131/2003, the following additional terms are also applicable:

Account Creation

Before placing an order, the customer must create a user account. The fields that he/she has to complete are the following:

Name and Surname, Address, Telephone Number, e-mail.

He/she will then be asked to set his/her personal password by entering it twice, as well as his/her e-mail. When the registration process is complete, the customer’s username and password are his/her personal data.

Did you forget your password

If the user has forgotten or lost his/her password, he/she make a request through the Account form. In order to do so, he/she must first enter the e-mail (it has to be the same with the one used in Account Creation). The code will be immediately sent to his/her e-mail.

Remember Me

By clicking this icon the customer accepts the use of cookies in his/her computer, so that each time he/she visits our website in the future, the fields Username and Password will be automatically filled in and he/she will only have to click Login in order to browse it.

Shopping Cart

When browsing our website, the user can place the desired products in the Shopping Cart by clicking on the Purchase icon.

Once the icon has been clicked, a pop-up box will appear notifying the user that the product has been placed in the shopping cart and he/she has the option to view his/her purchases so far, or continue browsing.

The Shopping Cart provides the user with the ability to manage the products he/she selected in the following ways:

• Set the quantity of each product that he/she wishes to order by filling in the field specifying the number of items
• Increase or decrease the quantity of each product
• Completely remove a product from the cart

Completing of an Order Form

In order to complete an order, the user’s account data will be utilized, as well as a few additional information will be requested from the user, such as payment method, invoice issuance information, shipping method and shipping address.

Prices-Offers-Discounts

All listed prices are inclusive of legally applicable VAT (6% for books and 23% for the rest of the products) as well as other taxes. Any differentiation will be reported and highlighted. We reserve the right to change the prices in case of a change in taxation. For certain regions in Greece where lower VAT rates are applicable, and provided that your order has been placed accompanied with the issuing of an invoice, the products’ prices may be lower than the ones listed, depending on the lower VAT rates.

Any advertised offers will have a limited duration and they will be valid until the date that the order has been placed.

The customer can use discount coupons, provided that one coupon will be used for each product that has been purchased. 

Required information for placing and order

Apart from placing an order via our website (which will be covered in detail later), should you chose to order a product in any other available way, you will have to identify the product and clearly state the quantity you wish to order and also provide identification information of the buyer. More specifically, you will have to state Name and Surname and contact information (telephone number, e-mail, home address), payment method, invoice or retail receipt information (TIN, PFD, capacity), as well as the shipping address.

Order placement

You can be assured that the placement of the order is considered complete and we have received your request, as soon as you receive a confirmation e-mail or phone call, stating that your order has been received.

Order cancellation

The customer is given the option of canceling his/her order until the delivery of the product to the indicated location.

Withdrawal

The customer reserves the right to return the products, undamaged and without any obligation to provide justification, within a period of fourteen (14) calendar days from the day of delivery. In this case, the customer will only be charged for the cost of returning the products.

Products returns will only be accepted on the condition that the products are in the same condition as they were the moment the customer received them. This implies that the products should remain in their package, which should be intact, accompanied by the retail receipt or the appropriate invoice.

PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

We at Disigma Publications operate with high ethical standards and always with absolute respect towards the protection of your personal data. The management and protection of the personal data of the visitor/user of our website is performed in accordance to the provisions of Law 2472/1997 on the Protection of Individuals with regard to the Processing of Persona Data as it stands and with the provisions of EU legislation.
