Georgia Milioni is Assistant Professor of Language Teaching at the Department of Italian Language and Literature of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She completed her undergraduate studies in Pedagogia (Università degli Studi di Perugia) and her postgraduate studies in Language Teaching (Università per Stranieri di Perugia). She holds a Ph.D. from the Department of Italian Language and Literature of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She teaches and has taught courses on Language Teaching with emphasis on teaching Italian as a foreign/second language. Her research interests lie in Contrastive Analysis of the Italian and Greek languages with a particular interest on phraseology and paremiology, error analysis in the framework of the teaching process, as well as teaching strategies.
