Είπαν για το βιβλίο μας

”This study responds to the need for a comprehensive understanding of the pedagogical practices involving young learners. The study presents the results of an extensive research in six countries in South-Eastern Europe and spans all aspects of foreign language teaching and learning, from teacher education and teacher cognition, policy and materials  velopment and evaluation to intercultural awareness and alternative assessment. The book is an invaluable contribution to the growing research in the field of early foreign language learning”
Prof. Nikos Sifakis, University of Athens, Greece

”This book provides a thorough examination and investigation of teachers’ perspectives and practices with regard to young learners. This book is an important contribution in the field of teaching young learners as it can facilitate our understanding in the South-Eastern European countries’ policies and educational practices. The book also covers topics of lesson-plan design, modern methods of teaching and assessment, materials design and interculturalism, which are important “elements” for a teacher of the 21st century”
Prof. Shpresa Delija, University of Tirana, Albania

”Papadopoulos and Savic have produced an important contribution to the understanding of teaching young learners globally. Their focus on specific South-Eastern
European countries provides a window into an interesting set of educational contexts. I believe teachers and researchers interested in early foreign language learning will benefit from reading about locally-based teaching practices for young language learners that also address challenges of education in our multicultural, multilingual, and multimodal world”
Dr. Joan Kang Shin, George Mason University, U.S.A.
