Dr Isaak M. Papadopoulos has been a Researcher in Applied Linguistics and Language Teaching. He has taught in various universities in Europe, while he has served as course developer and lecturer international institutes of higher education too. He has worked as a post-doctoral researcher in Translanguaging and Transknowledging at the University of Ioannina and the University of Thessaly in Greece. His research and teaching interests focus on language teaching to young learners, bilingualism/multilingualism as well as reading/writing skills teaching in primary school. He has presented his research at international and national conferences and has published chapters in books/collective volumes, as well as articles/papers in international journals and conference proceedings. He has written three scientific books “Teaching Young Foreign Language Learners in SE Europe”, “From Translanguaging Pedagogy to Classroom Pedagogy” and “Linguistic research and implementation in multidimensional primary education” while he has edited three collective books related to applied linguistics and pedagogy.
